Essential Job Functions:

• Patient Documentation: Record and maintain comprehensive patient progress notes in both paper charts and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Medication Inventory: Assist the physician, practitioner, and manager in maintaining accurate medication inventory procedures.
• Clinical Duties: Provide patient care by obtaining vital signs, administering intramuscular (IM) injections, conducting urinalysis, performing EKGs, assessing body composition, and conducting phlebotomy.
• Administrative Responsibilities: Efficiently manage administrative tasks, including answering telephones, scheduling patient appointments, and organizing and filing medical records.
• Inventory Management: Responsible for monitoring daily inventory levels of all clinical supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and organized clinical environment.
• Training: Assist in training additional staff members on daily procedures when requested by the office manager and/or physician.
• Marketing Support: Participate in clinic marketing efforts and provide ongoing support to promote clinic profitability and success.

Requirements:

• Degree and license requirements specific to the state in which you work.
• Motivational counseling and advising skills.
• Proficiency in multitasking, critical thinking, and providing the highest level of customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and human relations skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of the clinic team and within the corporate structure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Preferences:

• Two years of experience in phlebotomy.
